Passionate fans are seen all over the World Cup stadiums and this fan from Japan is one of the best we have seen. Alongside being shirtless while supporting his team in their game against Senegal, he also manages to head the ball away after a shot by a Senegal player. He is clearly loving his time at the World Cup, and it is images and videos like this that show those not in attendance just what a World Cup atmosphere is like.

The man in the picture is 101 year old, and he has seen his country Uruguay lift the World Cup on four occasions! He looks happy to be cheering on his team once more, and is looking for them to bring home a fifth title for him!

While the pictures and videos off the field have been great, one of the best moments so far comes from on the field, when Uruguay played Russia in their final group game. There was a lot at stake in this game, and Nahitan Nandez showed everything you need to know about his desire to win and do well at the World Cup. In a challenge with a Russian player, he never gave up, even when laid on the floor. Instead, Nandez tried to head the ball out of play multiple times while on the floor, showing great determination!
#2 Japan Fans Collect Rubbish after Their Game
Not only did Japan win the game on the field, but they also won off the field with this one. After a thrilling game and a victory for Japan, their fans wouldn’t have been blamed for celebrating on the streets of Russia. This fan had other ideas though, and he went round the area where he was sat for the game and cleaned up all the rubbish. A great man, and exactly what the World Cup should be about!
