Arsenal Battle Tottenham In North London Derby
Premier League football is back in our lives this weekend, and it kind of goes without saying that the biggest game over the next few days will be taking place at the Emirates. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are set to go head to head, with three pretty important points being up for grabs. The fixture, dubbed the North London derby, is being contested at a time in which both teams have a lot going on.

Burnley Face Unbeaten Liverpool At Turf Moor
The Premier League returns this weekend for another full set of fixtures, with one of the most intriguing being set to take place at Turf Moor up in Lancashire. Burnley will be going head to head with European champions Liverpool, in what should be a really entertaining clash of styles. Both sides are currently preparing for their schedules to get a little bit busier over the course of the next few weeks, but it truly does feel like they’re both more than ready for the challenges that come with a more intimidating schedule.

Fulham Offer Value Away at Cardiff in Championship
Fulham head to Cardiff on Friday night for a game that puts together two clubs who were relegated from the Premier League last season. I don’t think either team will be upset with how they have started, but it is fair to say we have only really seen glimpses from them, there is a lot more to come, especially in the case of Fulham. The Cottagers have managed to keep together most of their squad from last season,

Wolves Can Finish the Job against Italians Torino
After an impressive start to life in the Premier League last season, Wolves are just one game away from reaching the group stages of the Europa League. Italian side Torino stand between them and a place in the group stages, and at the half way stage in this tie it is Wolves that hold a 3-2 advantage over their opponents.
The win for Wolves in Torino may have surprised some last week, but they were good value for their success.

Sheffield Wednesday Have Edge in Local Derby
Sheffield Wednesday have made a good start to life in the Championship this season, with three victories and two defeats from their first five games. Although beaten away at Preston at the weekend, this has been a good spell for The Owls. Attention must now change focus though for a short while to the EFL Cup, where they face League One club Rotherham, who are also a local rival, being just a short drive away.

Aston Villa Fringe Players Fancied to Shine at Crewe
The EFL Cup can often be a very tricky competition for punters to get right due to the amount of changes the teams competing make to their starting eleven’s. When Aston Villa travel to Crewe on Tuesday night they are expected to change much of their starting eleven from the team that beat Everton on Friday night, but that doesn’t look like it will be a problem for them.
Villa were promoted from the Championship last season through the playoffs and have spent a lot of money this summer in an attempt to stay there.

Inter Milan Face Lecce In Serie A Showdown
While the Premier League may have been underway a few weeks ago, the rest of Europe is only just starting to catch-up. As such, this weekend has served as the reintroduction of Serie A to the world as Italian teams across the division attempt to make a statement. The game we’re going to be taking a look at today will be contested between Inter Milan and Lecce, which is pretty easily one of the biggest David vs Goliath encounters of recent years.

Tottenham Clash With Newcastle In Premier League
This weekend’s Premier League action kicked off with Aston Villa vs Everton last night, and while there is a whole host of great matches to look forward to on the Saturday, we’re looking ahead to one of the more intriguing encounters of this matchday: Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United. This was once considered to be a battle of the giants within the landscape of English football, but over the years Spurs have been able to thrive whereas Newcastle have gone through one of the darkest periods of their recent history –

Liverpool Host Arsenal In Top Six Clash At Anfield
The Premier League will return this evening when Aston Villa go head to head with Everton at Villa Park, but the biggest game of the weekend is easily the one that is taking place in the red half of Merseyside as Liverpool go up against Arsenal. After just two games of the season these teams are the only ones left with a 100% record, and while that may not say a lot at such an early stage,

Everton Fancied to Beat Villa on Friday Night
The Premier League weekend begins on Friday this week, with Everton travelling to face newly promoted Aston Villa. It has been a solid start for The Toffees, with a draw on the opening day of the season followed up by a win last weekend. However, it is fair to say they have been far from their best so far, but as they have plenty of experience in their squad, they have been able to pick up points despite not quite clicking.

Fulham to Come Out on Top in All-London Clash
Of the three teams that were relegated from the Premier League to the Championship last season, Fulham were the ones who were expected to mount the best challenge for a quick return. An away trip to former League One side Barnsley on the opening day was an awakening to The Cottagers of just how tough this league is but since then they have performed very well and appear to be finding their feet in this division now.
