Portugal to Wrap Up Nations League Campaign in Style
The Nations League group stages come to an end on Tuesday night, with this game featuring Portugal and Poland the only game from the top tier. While it is the highest quality game on show, there is nothing to play for here for either team, Portugal have already won the group, while Poland are already confirmed as being relegated to the second tier. Having said that, this will be the last chance that players from both teams get the chance to impress for a few months at international level so I still expect to see a decent game here between these two,

Relegated Germans Face The Netherlands
If nothing else over the course of the last week in the world of football, at least we’ve been able to see that sometimes, if you put some effort in, international football can be a lot of fun outside of the big tournaments. That’s not a sentiment that many fans will echo but such is the nature of the beautiful game, and such is the nature of the fans that watch it. Regardless of whether or not you agree with our assessment we’re still confident in saying that the Nations League has been more of a fan favourite than anyone could’ve anticipated,
The Swiss Tackle The Belgians
The international break doesn’t normally throw up so many consistently good games to watch, but that’s the beauty of the UEFA Nations League in a nutshell. Some of European football’s biggest and best will be competing for the right to not only win the competition, but also move on to UEFA Euro 2020. There are plenty of reasons to be confused about it and there are even more reasons to miss the domestic game, but if you give it a chance,
Italy & Portugal Collide Once Again
Here we are again – stuck in the middle of an international break with nowhere to turn. Ironically enough it seems like more fans are starting to talk about things like the UEFA Nations League more so than they have done in the past, but it’s taken a long, long time for us to get to this point. Well, not that long, but you can understand where we’re coming from. There are still things about the league that we’d change and alter,
France to Win Group Away to Netherlands on Friday
This week sees the end of the UEFA Nations League and many of the groups are very close going into the final games. League A1 is no different, and we are set for a fantastic finish, including what would be a potentially huge shock at the bottom of the table.
For France, this game against the Netherlands on Friday night is their last of the group, and if they get anything from it they will be crowned winners of the group and progress through to the final next June.

We head into the final games of the Nations League group stage and on Thursday, the result between Croatia and Spain will either keep the group alive, or almost end it. Previous Winners Barnsley a Safe Bet in EFL Trophy
The EFL Trophy has a fairly poor reputation in English football and that is something that has certainly gone downhill since the introduction of u23 teams playing in it. This competition was originally brought in to give lower league clubs a chance to play for a trophy that ended with a Wembley final. Now it is littered with reserve teams from top clubs, and lower league teams who play weakened teams because they have no interest in the competition at all.

England Go Again During International Break
The international break is almost upon us once again as the football world issues a collective sigh, although in truth, it does feel like the fast paced action of domestic football means that we should have a break every so often. That point of view clearly isn’t unanimous across all different corners of the game and we can understand that, but perhaps opening your mind up to the possibility of accepting the international break would ensure that you enjoy it even more in the long run.

The Manchester Derby Cometh
Premier League football is a magical thing in more ways than one, and one of the fixtures that defines that magic is the Manchester derby. Of course, there are a parade of other derbies that have and continue to take place on a year by year basis in England’s top flight division, but few hold the same kind of stakes from a ‘quality’ perspective. Both clubs are considered to be amongst the biggest in England,
Brighton Look Good Value Away at Cardiff
Brighton head to Cardiff in the Premier League this weekend, looking to maintain their recent good run of form. The Seagulls come here on the back of three wins from their last four games, a run which has seen them move away from the relegation zone. They are up in 12th position, and have an eight point cushion over Huddersfield, who are currently the highest of the three clubs in the relegation zone.
Cardiff appear as though they are still struggling to adapt to life in the Premier League,

Sheffield United Ready to Rule the City in Friday’s Derby
There are many cities arcoss the country that have big football derbies and the Sheffield derby between United and Wednesday is one of the biggest of them. City bragging rights are up for grabs here and we may be beginning to see a changing of the guard, with United taking over. Last season these two met twice, with United winning one and the other game ending in a draw.
Current league positions certainly give United the advantage this season,
