Manchester City Face Off Against High Flying Watford
The Premier League is set to return to our lives this weekend, following a series of intriguing fixtures (and results) in Europe earlier in the week. We’re approaching the business end of the season with a lot of things still left to be determined, which, in truth, is the best possible position we could find ourselves in. Premier League football is at its best when there are a series of stakes attached to the games that we’re watching,

Norwich to Extend Lead at Top of the Championship on Friday
Norwich are the first team out of the top three to play this weekend, and as they are already at the top, they have the chance to extend their lead even further. They go into the games this weekend with a two point advantage over Leeds and a four point advantage over Sheffield United, a win here could take those leads to five and seven respectively.
The Canaries are in pole position for an automatic promotion spot and a chance to go back into the Premier League,

Arsenal Worth Sticking With in European Trip to France
As far as the English challenge in the Europa League goes, both Arsenal and Chelsea have made it through to the last 16 of the competition, and both will fancy their chances of going further. This week they both play the first of two legs against opponents with a place in the last eight at stake. Chelsea are at home and look to have a relatively straight forward task, but from a value and betting point of view,

PSG to Beat United Again for Quarter Final Place
PSG host Manchester United in the second leg of their Champions League tie on Wednesday night and going into this game it is the French side that hold the upper hand. They have a 2-0 lead to look after in front of their home fans, which makes them huge favourites to qualify for the quarter finals.
We have seen huge Manchester United performances in Europe in the past when they were managed by Sir Alex Ferguson and if United are to qualify here,

Home Advantage Gives Dortmund a Chance to Shock Spurs
With a 3-0 lead for Tottenham going into the second leg of their Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, many are labelling the tie as being over already. However, I wouldn’t be so sure myself, especially if the German side can get an away goal.
During the first leg, after an even first half, Tottenham came to life in the second and blew the German club away. It was disappointing from Dortmund,

Sheffield Rivals Meet In Steel City Derby
It’s always fun to focus on the Premier League, because let’s face it, it’s probably the most entertaining league in the world. With that being said it can also be pretty fun to take a step back and look a little bit further down the rankings – to the Championship. The second tier of English football is considered to be the most exciting division outside of Europe’s top leagues, and for good reason. The unpredictability of the playoffs,

Can Leeds Fight Back or Are Cracks Beginning to Appear?
Leeds United are one of three teams that are separated by just two points at the top of the Championship. They are in third right now, and a win on Friday night will take them back to the top of the league before Norwich and Sheffield United play over the weekend. However, they have not been playing anywhere near their best recently, and are lucky to have just two wins from their last five games.

Two of the top six clubs, Chelsea and Tottenham, go head to head at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night in a big game at the top of the table. Manchester United Too Big to Ignore Away at Palace
Manchester United remained unbeaten in the Premier League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the weekend after a 0-0 draw with top of the table Liverpool at Old Trafford. Coming out of that game they have injury concerns, and bizarrely they had to make all of their three substitutes during the first half of the game, all due to injuries. Marcus Rashford played the full 90 minutes, but did not look comfortable at times during the second half and he would have to be a doubt alongside the three players that came off.

Cardiff Face Crucial Game Against Everton
The disjointed nature of this weekend’s schedule has been a bit odd, and it’s left some fans feeling a little bit frustrated with just two 3pm Premier League kick offs on Saturday. Of course, nostalgia has an important role to play in that, but either way we shouldn’t be getting all too down about it. There’s a whole new set of fixtures coming to our screens over the course of the next few days, as we sit back and enjoy some rare midweek action in the Premier League.
