Germany U21 Face Denmark U21 In Euro U21s Championship
As if we didn’t already have enough international football to scream and shout about this summer, another tournament is starting to grab the attention of the masses: and that is the European U21s Championship. We all know that Europe is the biggest hotbed for world class football throughout the world, and as such, this competition is pretty important. For most of these kids, it serves as the final step up before they attempt to start playing for their senior national team. Today, we’re going to be looking at the clash that will take place between Germany U21 and Denmark U21.
It’s safe to say that Germany have been on a good run of form leading up to this tournament, dating all the way back to September. They were able to dismantle Ireland 6-0 with ruthless efficiency, before picking up wins over Norway and Ireland again. They then beat rivals the Netherlands 3-0, before back to back triumphs over Italy and England. In terms of team news, Lukas Klostermann is expected to start at the back with Henrichs and Mittelstadt battling it out for a place in the starting XI. Waldschmidt is expected to lead the line, with Dahoud leading the charge in the middle of the park.
Denmark have been a little bit more inconsistent, and haven’t actually played together that much as of late. Their last six game run began in March 2018 with a draw to Georgia, before they beat Finland and Lithuania in back to back wins. They drew with Poland before bouncing back against Faroe Islands, and then in their last game (back in November 2018) they lost 5-1 to England.
Germany vs Denmark Betting Prediction
There’s a common saying in the world of international football that you should never bet against the Germans, and we can’t even begin to stress how true we believe that is. These two nations are going to throw everything they’ve got at one another, but in the end, we just can’t picture a scenario in which the Danes are able to give them any real trouble. We can feel another golden generation coming on for the 2014 FIFA World Cup champions, and we’re excited to see how things unfold – not only in this game, but in the entire tournament. Joachim Andersen isn’t at full fitness but will probably start the game anyway, whereas the team as a whole are expected to play in a nice 3-4-3 formation.
