Wolves continue their Europa League quest on Thursday night when they head to Turkey to face Besiktas. This is a traditionally very tough country to play football in, the English side can expect a hostile atmosphere for their game, both on and off the field.

However, while all of this remains true about playing in Turkey, the actual quality of the league has not moved in the right direction for the past few years. Although the league remains competitive with a few teams involved that are capable of challenging for the title, the actual quality of the league hasn’t gone up too much, and if anything it could have gone down a little.

I think the only thing standing in front of Wolves and three points here is the atmosphere for the game, if they can handle that they I really fancy them to get three points from this one.

This season hasn’t seen Wolves start as well as many would have hoped but they have shown a little more recently, and they come here on the back of a much needed 2-0 victory over Watford.

Hopefully they can build on that and use it to really kick start their season both from a domestic point of view and a European one.

Besiktas vs Wolves Betting Tips

This is a tough trip for Wolves, but one that ultimately puts them against a team that they are better than. The Turkish league is not quite as good as it was in the past I don’t think, paving a way for the English side to win this.

Wolves won at the weekend, hopefully that is a sign they are getting back on track and kicking on, another win here would do them the world of good.

That is what I think they will get, they can expect a tough night but my bet on Thursday is that Wolves will come out on top and bring the points home with them.
