Aberdeen Fancied to Bounce Back from Disappointing Draw
Aberdeen will have been disappointed with the result and their performance last week when they travelled to Georgia. They are back home now on Thursday, with the game still finely in the balance and everything to play for. They will be hoping to perform better, and while they are capable of much better, they shouldn’t need to be too much better to get ahead and win this tie against a team who showed their limitations last week.
While Aberdeen are not expected to get through to the group stages of this competition, anything is possible with a good draw and that is what they have had so far. This is a game they should be winning not only on aggregate but in the two individual legs, something they failed to do in the first and something they will want to put right in the second game here.
They are just days away from beginning their Scottish Premiership campaign and a win here would set them up nicely for the start of the season, as well as continuing their progression in the Europa League.
Chikhura Sachkhere will be pleased they have got this far in the competition, but this looks as though it could be the end of the line for them. The group stages look even further away and should they by some chance be able to get past Aberdeen, they are sure to be outclassed in the next round.
Aberdeen vs Chikhura Sachkhere Betting Tips
The odds suggest that this will be a relatively comfortable night for Aberdeen and I agree 100%. They were far from their best last week when they managed to draw 1-1 in Georgia, I expect to see more from them here and if that is the case then this should be a comfortable victory for them.
The Georgians are not good enough to be able to cope with Aberdeen at their best, and even if the Scottish side are not at their best, they should still have enough here. Reaching the Europa League group stages will not be easy, but I fancy Aberdeen to take another step towards that stage by winning on Thursday and qualifying for the next round of games.
